My name is Heather Barnes. My daughter is 6 years old and just started here at Carroll Elementary in 2023; she is going into 1st Grade. I have a 13 year old son at Toby Johnson MS (from Stone Lake Elementary), and my almost-20 year old godson recently moved in with us while he attends college in the area. For work, I am a civil attorney/shareholder with a San Francisco firm, working at a satellite office in Sacramento. I’ve been there since I moved to California from Indiana about 15 years ago. I’m always doing work or family stuff – but when we can, we mix travel into those activities for fun and take the family to new places as much as possible.
